To establish the relationship between knowledge in the administration and management of medications from an integral education for healthy aging in the residents of the San Juan de Dios nursing home in Ica, 2024. Methodology: An applied study with a descriptive-correlational, cross-sectional level, 29 elderly residents of the “San Juan de Dios” nursing home in the province of Ica voluntarily participated in the year 2024, who met the inclusion criteria. Age, sex, the number of medications administered by patients in 24 hours and the most frequent dosages of older adults were measured. Results: It was determined with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r= .703) that there is a direct and statistically significant “high” relationship between the management and administration of medication in the users of a nursing home in Ica. Likewise, it was determined with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r= .734) that there is a direct and statistically significant “high” relationship between the storage and administration of the medication; and a Pearson correlation coefficient (r= .713) it was determined that there is a direct and statistically significant “high” relationship between the elimination and administration of the medication in the users of a nursing home in Ica. Conclusions: Identifying that there is a very “high” relationship between knowledge about the administration and management of medications in the users of a nursing home in Ica.
