The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of decision making on the inaction of administrative disciplinary processes (ADP) in the Regional Hospital of Ica during the years 2021-2023. With a quantitative, basic, correlational-descriptive approach and a non experimental transactional design, we worked with a sample of 86 workers selected from a population of 110. The results revealed that 95.3% of the respondents perceive decision making at a moderate level, while 74.4% rate the inaction of the PADs similarly. Inferential analysis evidenced a moderate positive correlation (Spearman's Rho = 0.482; p < 0.05) between the two variables, indicating that improvements in decision making could be associated with higher levels of inaction in administrative disciplinary processes. These findings underscore the need to review and optimize both decisional strategies and the management of PADs to ensure efficient and consistent administration.
