Impacto de la gestión sostenible en la segregación de los residuos sólidos hospitalarios en la UE 404 hospital San Juan de dios de Pisco, 2023

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el impacto de la gestión sostenible en la segregación de residuos sólidos hospitalarios en la UE Hospital San Juan de Dios de Pisco, 2023. La metodología empleada fue en base a un estudio de tipo aplicado, cuantitativo, diseño no experimental – transversal y nivel correlacional. La población fue constituida por 120 trabajadores del Hospital de Pisco mediante un muestreo censal. La técnica fue la revisión documental y la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario, el procesamiento de datos fue mediante la estadística descriptiva con tablas de frecuencia y la estadística inferencial mediante el coeficiente de correlación. Los resultados mostraron que la mayoría está totalmente en desacuerdo con las capacitaciones sobre manejo de residuos sólidos (43.33%), de acuerdo con estrategias para enfrentar el manejo de RS (55.83%), han logrado identificar los elementos dañinos que están en contra de su salud (68.33%), de acuerdo con su conocimiento sobre manejo de los RS (75.83%), en desacuerdo con contenedores adecuados (47.5%); en desacuerdo con el abastecimiento de las bolsas para desechar RS (50%), en desacuerdo con la capacidad adecuada de los contenedores (50.83%), totalmente de acuerdo con el conocimiento que recibe sobre el tipo de RSH (71.67%), los riesgos al 100% fueron infecciosos, cortopunzante, ecotóxicos y farmacéutico, totalmente en desacuerdo con la utilización de recipientes adecuados para la disposición de RS (63.33%), saben identificar RS afectados (73.33%). Tienen uso inadecuado de los contenedores (78.33%). El mayor riesgo fue al manipular desechos de sangre (45%,). Conclusión: Existe relación fuerte y significativa de la gestión sostenible que impacta significativamente en la segregación de residuos sólidos. Esto se debe a que la gestión sostenible es deficiente pero sus dimensiones se encuentran en nivel moderado. Entonces a una deficiente gestión sostenible le corresponde una regular segregación de RS.The objective of the research was to determine the impact of sustainable management on the segregation of hospital solid waste in the EU Hospital San Juan de Dios in Pisco, 2023. The methodology used was based on an applied, quantitative, non-experimental design study. – transversal and correlational level. The population was made up of 120 workers from the Pisco Hospital through census sampling. The technique was the documentary review and the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, the data processing was through descriptive statistics with frequency tables and inferential statistics through the correlation coefficient. The results showed that the majority totally disagree with the training on solid waste management (43.33%), according to strategies to face the management of RS (55.83%), they have managed to identify the harmful elements that are against their health (68.33%), totally agree with having knowledge about the management of RS (75.83%), totally disagree that the containers are appropriate (47.5%); totally disagree with the supply of RS disposal bags (50%), disagree with the adequate capacity of the containers (50.83%), totally agree with the knowledge they receive about the type of RSH (71.67%), 100% risks were infectious, sharp, ecotoxic and pharmaceutical, totally disagreeing with the use of appropriate containers for the disposal of SR (63.33%), knowing how to identify affected SR (73.33%). They have inadequate use of containers (78.33%). The highest risk was when handling blood waste (45%). Conclusion: There is a strong and significant relationship with sustainable management that significantly impacts the segregation of solid waste. This is because sustainable management is deficient but its dimensions are at a moderate level. Therefore, poor sustainable management corresponds to regular segregation of SR.
