Relación de los factores socioculturales y atención prenatal en gestantes atendidas en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande Ica, Perú, 2024

Resumen
Se realizó un estudio cuyo objetivo fue determinar la relación de los factores socioculturales y
atención prenatal en gestantes atendidas en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande Ica, Perú, 2024.
Metodología: Estudio de tipo observacional, prospectivo y de corte transversal, con un nivel
relacional y diseño no experimental; se trabajó con una muestra de 84 gestantes, utilizando el
cuestionario como instrumento.
Resultados: Dentro de los factores sociales se halló que el 88,1% tenía edades entre 19 a 34 años,
iniciando su atención prenatal en el I trimestre en 59,5%; el 56,0% tenía un estado civil
conviviente; el 54,8% amas de casa; con estudios superiores en el 50,0%; el 89,3% contaba con
apoyo de sus familiares para asistir a la APN; el 96,4% no sufren de maltrato familiar. En los
factores culturales observamos que el 84,5% eran católicas; procedían de la zona urbana el 83,3%;
el 94,0% demoraba de 5 a 30 minutos en llegar al establecimiento de salud; el 91,7% no utiliza
remedios caseros y el 98,8% conoce la importancia de la APN.
Conclusión: La relación de los factores socioculturales y atención prenatal en gestantes atendidas
en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande Ica, Perú, 2024 no es significativa.
A study was carried out whose objective was to determine the relationship between sociocultural factors and prenatal care in pregnant women treated at the La Palma Grande Health Center Ica, Peru, 2024. Methodology: Observational, prospective and cross-sectional study, with a relational level and non-experimental design; We worked with a sample of 84 pregnant women, using the questionnaire as an instrument. Results: Within the social factors, it was found that 88.1% were between 19 and 34 years old, starting their prenatal care in the I trimester in 59.5%; 56% had a cohabiting marital status, 54.8% were housewives, 50.0% had superior education, 89.3% had support from their relatives to attend the ANC, 96.4% did not suffer from family abuse. In the cultural factors we observed that 84.5% were Catholic, 83.3% came from the urban area, 94% took 5 to 30 minutes to get to the health facility, 91.7% do not use home remedies and 98.8% know the importance of the APN. Conclusion: The relationship between sociocultural factors and prenatal care in pregnant women treated at the La Palma Grande Health Center Ica, Peru, 2024 is not significant.
