Factores relacionados al síndrome de flujo vaginal en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande, Ica – 2023

Abstract

OBJETIVO: Determinar los factores relacionados al síndrome de flujo vaginal en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande, Ica – 2023. METODOLOGÍA: Tipo de investigación básica, de nivel descriptivo, correlacional y trasversal, con un diseño de estudio no experimental, la muestra fue de 153 usuarias que asisten al servicio de planificación familiar de forma regular , hasta el mes de junio 2023, como técnica se empleó la encuesta e instrumento el cuestionario. RESULTADOS: Dentro de los resultados tenemos las características sociodemográficas de las usuarias, donde el 56.2% cursan entre las edades de 29 a 45 años, el 73.9% tienen un nivel educativo secundaria, el 48.4% con convivientes y el 58.2% de las usuarias son trabajadoras dependientes. Con respecto a los factores asociados, el 69.9% refiere que inicio su vida sexual entre los 16 a 19 años, el 75.8% realiza su práctica de higiene 2 veces al día, el 41.8% utiliza un material de ropa interior de sintética, el 38.6% emplean métodos hormonales. En cuanto al tipo de flujo vaginal que predomino, fue la vaginosis bacteriana con un 31.4%, seguido del 58.2% candidiasis albicans y el 16.1% tricomoniasis. CONCLUSIÓN: Los factores que se asocian significativamente al síndrome de flujo vaginal en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud La Palma Grande, Ica – 2023 fueron la edad de inicio de relaciones sexuales, material de la ropa íntima, practica de higiene genital, método anticonceptivo y el número de pareja sexual.

OBJECTIVE: Determine the factors related to vaginal discharge syndrome in women treated at the La Palma Grande health center, Ica – 2023. METHODOLOGY: Type of applied research, descriptive level, prospective correlational and transversal, with a non-experimental study design, the sample consisted of 153 users who attend the family planning service regularly, until June 2023, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire was instrumented. RESULTS: Within the results we have the sociodemographic characteristics of the users, where 56.2% are between the ages of 29 to 45 years, 73.9% have a secondary educational level, 48.4% have cohabitants and 58.2% of the users are dependent workers. With respect to the associated factors, 69.9% report that they began their sexual life between the ages of 16 and 19, 75.8% carry out their hygiene practice twice a day, 41.8% use a synthetic underwear material, 38.6% % use hormonal methods. Regarding the type of vaginal discharge that predominated, it was bacterial vaginosis with 31.4%, followed by 58.2% candidiasis albicans and 16.1% trichomoniasis. CONCLUSION: The factors that are significantly associated with vaginal discharge syndrome in women treated at the La Palma Grande health center, Ica - 2023 were the age of initiation of sexual relations, material of intimate clothing, genital hygiene practice, contraceptive method and the number of sexual partners.
